NO WHITE SEABASS FOUND IN RUN SOUTH OF BAY

Jan. 29, 2006, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas,, San Quintin sportfishing, Baja California, Mexico:

We did make the fishing trip down south of San Quintin that we talked about last week for the white seabass. We had great calico and sand bass fishing but no white sea bass landed. There is a possibility that we lost two white seabass in the kelp.

In addition to that, this week we had six sportfishing boats go out of San Quintin. They caught pretty much the same fare as last weekend: limits of lingcod and rockcod with scattered yellowtail.
