PEDRO'S PANGAS BOATS WITH CALICO BASS
AND SANDBASS LIMITS AT SOCORRO

April 3, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico:

Capt. John Ackley brought 9 family members and deck hands for 2 days of fishing at San Quintin. They fished on the Rommy and Garron with Captains Hector and Miguel. On their first day of fishing at Socorro, they got limits of calico bass and sandbass, and shallow water rockcod. On their second San Quintin fishing day they fished the 15 and 240 spot. They got one yellowtail, limits of lingcod, large rockcod, and giant squid.

San Quintin sportfishing weather has been beautiful, but the winds are starting to pick up as of Sunday a.m. with skies overcast.
