San Quintin, Mexico:
White Seabass, New fishing Boats, And Special Room Rates At Don Eddie's Landing

Oct. 8, 2006, Sarai Garcia, Don Eddie's Landing, San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico:

At this moment it is 9:52 a.m. Sunday and our boats off fishing from San Quintin have caught a few white seabass. Therefore the white seabass are still around, not in big numbers as in September, but they're still there.

The air temperature at San Quintin has been in the high 70's and low 80's water temperature 62 to 63 degrees, and very clean and calm. There is hardly any wind today. But during the week we did have some gusty winds that might have been Santa Ana winds, I don't know, but the anglers kept going out to sea to catch their limits.

The sandbass, calico bass, and lingcods have been caught in big numbers and during the week some of the fishing boats have been returning by 12 noon with limits of these fish species. The Bonitas and barracudas have also been caught in great numbers making it hard to get to the white sea bass.

We have acquired two additional cruisers, 24 footers, Skipjacks, making it a total of 4 cruisers with port-a-potties for the comfort of our guests.

In a good gesture from Don Eddie's enterprises we are offering the following prices on our rooms for the next two weeks.

Beginning on Thursday the 5th of October when you rent one of our cruisers or pangas, rooms with 2 beds are $29 per day. Rooms with 3 beds are $39 per day. Rooms with 4 beds are $49 per day Rooms. Rooms with 5 bed suites are $75 per day.
