SPORTFISHING WITH CAPT. LEE MORENO
AT CAMALU, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO

July 29, 2005, Jim Petrella, Camalu, Baja California, Mexico sportfishing:

I just fished two days with Lee Moreno of in Camalu north of San Quintin. We had some bad red tide inshore but we found some great lingcod fishing and wide-open on large sand and calico bass. There were no white seabass or yellowtail, and we had a hard time making mackerel because of the dirty water. The Pirate's Cove Hotel is still under construction with a planned pool. Rooms were still $34 and there was reasonable food at the restaurant. Lee Moreno: 011-52-616-159-6741.
