FISHING FOR LIMITS OF DORADO TO 40 POUNDS

Oct. 14, 2005, John Migeot, Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico Fishing Report:

Mike Rogalla, Joe Horvath and I, all of Mission Viejo, fished out of Loreto with Captain Pancho. On Oct. 11th and 12th we fished north of Coronado Island for limits of dorado to 40 pounds, mostly bulls. Also got 3 Sailfish and one blue marlin about 200 pounds. The dorado were not shy. We used 80 pound leader, 6/0 hooks and bigeye for bait.

On the third day we fished the inshore at San Bruno for mostly nada. We had big wind and big waves on that fishing third day. Loreto had warm water, and cool nights. Just perfect fishing weather.
