MARLIN AND TUNA PLENTIFUL IN EAST CAPE FISHING WATERS THIS WEEK

There are marlin everywhere at East Cape, tuna pods around with and without porpoise and they're catching them up to 80 pounds. A few dorado are being caught in the 15 to 20 pounds range. We are still getting big sierra along the shore if you know where they are that particular day. All of this depends on the wind and we are getting about one calm morning for every four windy ones.

My neighbors Joe Minto and Dave Sward played host to Dr. Edward Kondrot from Phoenix who brought some movement yesterday into the legs of a young man paralyzed a year ago here in an auto accident. It was the first movement breakthrough since the accident. The doc was repaid. They caught and released two stripers and kept the one that was badly hooked.
