PANGA FISHING FOR YELLOWTAIL AND
BLACK SEA BASS AT BAHIA DE LOS ANGELES

My fiancee and I fished with Guillermo on one of his boats in Bahia de los Angeles on Thursday, December 29th. We caught two yellowtail of about 15 pounds and a 46 pound black sea bass. The black sea bass was caught off the bottom with a frozen mackerel. We fished across the channel from "Los Machos."

We attempted to make bait that morning but had no luck, so we used jigs and frozen mackerel.

We got all fish across from Los Machos near the shore of the main peninsula. I think they called it "Bolstador". I don't have fishing water temperatures but sea conditions were like glass all day. I stayed at Guillermo's all four nights in Bahia, Dec 28-Jan 1.
