GOOD DORADO FISHING FOUND AT SOUTH END OF ISLA CERRALVO

Sept. 25, 2005, Dos Hernandez, Tortuga Sportfishing, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

This week the weather in our Las Arenas fishing area at La Paz has been very good, very calm and sunny, although we did have a bit of light rain on Monday.

The fishing here has had some surprizing changes. We are catching a big number of dorado at the south point of Isla Cerralvo, with weights of about 20 to 30 pounds. And, we are also catching lots of tuna, around Punta Perico, using sardina baits for these fish, and in this same area we are still getting some Humboldt squid, although these are fewer than in past days.
