SOME GOOD DAYS OF FISHING BETWEEN WIND RAINS

Feb. 12, 2005, Gerardo Hernandez, Tortuga Sportfishing, Las Arenas, La Paz, Mexico Fishing Report:

During the course of the week, we had days of good fishing around Punta Perico with big numbers of pargos to 20 pounds, some sierra, and some dorado and cabrilla. La Paz sportfishing anglers included Pete Teichmann of Newport Beach, who caught a 20-pound pargo on 30-pound test line.

The weather was cloudy for most of the week, and on Friday it rained all day long, but without wind, and today, Saturday, it is mostly sunny, with an air temperature of about 76 degrees. The continue to have very few visitors in the area. The water temperature where we are fishing is in the 70s, although we have not gone out these last few days.
