LOTS OF GIANT SQUID CAUGHT IN FISHING AT THE PUNTA BANDA BANK

Today, we fished at the Punta Banda Bank off Ensenada on the private boat Coast to Coast, with four anglers, and we got 24 giant Humboldt squid. We saw the squid 5 feet deep, and we caught 24 of them in one hour, average weight 25 pounds. The fishing water temperature at Ensenada was 61.8 degrees, with clean water. Fishing at Isla Todos Santos, we have been catching log barracuda and small to medium bonitas, trolling Rapalas and small feathers too.

Today the Amigo fishing at the Punta Banda Bank off Ensenada and we caught 25 giant Humboldt squid and a few bottom fish. The fishing water temperature at Ensenada was 60 degrees, and the water was clean and clear. Another Ensenada fishing boat caught many medium sized bonito at University Point and also at the Punta Banda Bank.
