ONLY A FEW BOATS FISHING IN WINDY SEA CONDITIONS

April 10, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja fishing, Mexico:

Jim Nolan (Buena Park, CA) brought friends Larry Marks (Bellflower, CA), Chuck Noice (Las Vegas, NV), and brother-in-law, Don Mazellan (South Plainsfield, NJ) to fish at San Quintin. Fishing with Capt. Hector on the Rommy, Don got his first white seabass at Socorro, 36.5 pounds. Everyone got limits of sandbass and calico bass and giant squid.

Not many San Quintin fishing boats made it out this week due to heavy and high winds. Most boats were kept in. As of Sunday morning, the winds were finally beginning to die down in the San Quintin area.
