SEAS COLD AND FOGGY, BUT WITH NO WIND

Jan. 2, 2005, Pete Hillis, Pedro's Pangas, San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico fishing:

Captain Hector reported from San Quintin over the weekend that fishing conditions were great. San Quintin had no wind and no rain, but very few anglers! The recent local weather kept most anglers at home during the week. San Quintin weather on Sunday is cold and foggy, but with no wind. The San Quintin fishing boats that did get out found that the white seabass again were in good numbers at Socorro. Two anglers brought on board nine white seabass with limits of sandbass. The boats that went north found the yellowtail again at the 6 fathom spot. Near limits of yellowtail were caught in the 15 to 20-pound range.
