The Erik left San Felipe for its 17th fishing trip of the season. The weather was still a little unpredictable with some wind again this week, but nothing that kept them from fishing.

Fish caught for this San Felipe trip: 117 yellowtail; 82 cabrilla; 8 white seabass; 28 pargo; 4 dorado; 105 miscellaneous fish including some giant squid; and 4 grouper from 25 lb. to 86 lb. The 86 lb. grouper was caught on the last day before returning to San Felipe while fishing at the Golden Reef by Mike Scolaro of the LA area.
