WHITE SEABASS CAUGHT AT SAN FRANCISQUITO
BY MOTHERSHIP TONY REYES

July 8, 2005, Tony Reyes Jr., Tony Reyes Fishing Tours, Tony Reyes, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Mothership Fishing Report:

We departed San Felipe, Mexico, on July 3, 2005, and we fished at Partida Island. San Francisquito bay produced nice white seabass. On this fishing trip it was hard to make bait. Most fish were caught on jigs and MirrOlures. We had nice weather, and the water temperature averaged 75-80 degrees. We returned to San Felipe on July 9, 2005, with the following fish count: 247 yellowtail up to 38 lb; 120 cabrillas up to 15 lb; 1 black sea bass 80 lb; 12 white sea bass 35-64 lb; 36 sheephead 4-8 lb; 225 spotted bass; 65 squid, used for bait; miscellaneous fish.
