BAIT HARD TO FIND IN COOL
MIDRIFF ISLANDS WATERS

June 4-9, 2005, Celia Castellon, Sea of Cortez Sportfishing, Celia Angelina, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

The Celia Angelina departed San Felipe and fished from Cardenosa, to San Esteban, to Devil's Point, then Refugio Bay, then the last day we fished the Enchanted Islands.

Everyone had a great time. We had a lot of active and retired firemen fishing on board, as well as Bob Castellon's daughter Tiffany, who works for the Long Beach Fire Dept. and is a very good angler.

All had a ball fishing and enjoying everyones company. The bait is still difficult to come by as the water is still in the low 60s, but what we get is big bait. Fish Count: 97 Yellowtail to 38 lbs., 58 Cabrilla to 16 lbs., 5 Pargo to 12 lbs., 6 Baqueta to 40 lbs., and 120 Misc.
