FISHING BOAT CELIA ANGELINA FINDS
PLENTY OF GIANT SQUID BAIT AT ISLANDS

May 28-June 4, 2005, Celia Castellon, Sea of Cortez Sportfishing, Celia Angelina, San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

On a fishing trip out of San Felipe led by Rick Huntington of Palmdale, Calif., the Celia Angelina caught the following: 95 yellowtail, 39 white seabass, 56 pargo, 41 Mexican rock cod, and 189 miscellaneous. The weather temperature was in the 80 degree range. The water temperature was up to 66 degrees. The mackerel is still scarce. However, there is plenty of giant squid, which we can only use for bait now. The fishing conditions were excellent until the last day before returning to San Felipe, when we caught some wind.
