PANGA MOTHERSHIP ERIK RETURNS FROM
FIFTH MIDRIFF TRIP OF THE SEASON

May 7-12, 2005, Dana Kerby, Baja Sportfishing, Inc., San Felipe, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

The Erik's fifth fishing trip of the season out of San Felipe has come and gone. A good time was had by all, with 21 fishing persons on board. The Erik fished at Bahia Refugio, Punta Diablo, Salsipuedes, Ensenada Grande, Punta Final, the Encantadas and Golden Reef.

The fishing was better this week, and the water was a little warmer. The catch was: Yellowtail, 178; Cabrilla, 112; Pargo, 26; Grouper, 2, one weighed in at 48 lb. and the other just over 40; White seabass, 13; and one black seabass which weighed in at 75 pounds.

There were around 400 other fish caught, many of which were released because they were too small.
