14 BLACK SEA BASS CAUGHT
BY MOTHERSHIP CELIA ANGELINA

May 10-13, 2005, Celia Castellon, Sea of Cortez Sportfishing, Celia Angelina, San Felipe, Mexico Panga Mothership Fishing Report:

An on-the-spot report from Bob says the trip is going great. They caught 14 black sea bass to 250 pounds, 119 yellowtail to 26 pounds, four pargo, six white seabass to 40 pounds, plus limits of spotted bay bass.

The boat had excellent conditions, except for no live bait, but there was plenty of live squid. Jose Montenegro won the jackpot with a 250 pound black seabass.

The weather finally turned hot and the temperature is over 80 degrees. The water temperature is 70 degrees. The Celia Angelina, out of San Felipe, is fishing the Golden Reef on the second day of the four-day trip. They also lost a lot more black seabass on the sharp edges of the Golden Reef. It has been a fantastic trip, and we hope it continues.
