YELLOWFIN TUNA CAUGHT IN FISHING OUT OF LAS GLORIAS, SINALOA

Nov. 25, 2005, Manuel Gerhardus, Las Glorias, Sinaloa, Mexico Fishing Trip Report:

We finally went out fishing and did good. We went 45 miles out from Las Glorias on a heading of 230 and caught these nice yellowfin tuna on a cedar plug and two feathers. Horacio Peñuelas caught one, Diomedes Reyes caught the second one, and I caught the third one. My son Manuel and Anibal Acuña were the other people on my boat Mamnina. We did not weigh the tuna, but the two bigger ones felt like 100 pounds and it took us one hour to land them.
