CHARTER BOATS TOO MUCH FUN AND ANDALE CATCH BILLFISH AND DORADO

July 14, 2005, Bob Blair, Fishing San Carlos, San Carlos, Mexico Fishing Report:

The last two days of fishing out of San Carlos aboard the Andale and the Too Much Fun netted 3 marlin, 1 sailfish, 12 dorado.

It looks like the dorado are coming back in. Other San Carlos sportfishing boats reported a lot of them at 20 miles out on the 180. There is no size to the ones we caught, maybe 18 pounds the biggest.

We now have blue and green water breaks and I think that is needed. Some friends went south and west for a three-day fishing trip on their boat and said the water temperature on the other side was a lot colder than here at San Carlos and they just caught a few dorado. Other San Carlos fishing boats are going 20 miles and getting into them a lot. Yesterday we were 12 out and had marlin, dolphin and dorado.
