DORADO SCATTER AS WATER TEMPERATURES DROP 10 DEGREES

Oct. 6, 2004, Bill Molden, San Carlos sportfishing, Sonora, Mexico:

Well San Carlos dorado are on their last gasp. With the water temps dropping 10 degrees to 74 it won't be long. But the good news is the bonito and sierra are in for those willing to drag wire and lures. Some really good catches of bonita have been taken at both San Pedro Nolasco island and at San Antonio Point. San Carlos water has been good for most of the week so lots of folks have been getting out. The winter visitors are showing up in big numbers and so are the fisherpeople.
