ANGLER LANDS PERSONAL BEST 220-POUND TUNA

Dec. 22, 2005, Danny Osuna, Marla's Sportfishing, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

While fishing at Puerto Vallarta, Steve Danziger from Santa Monica, California, caught his first ever cow yellowfin tuna, a 210 pounder, and Chuck Schmid from Long Beach, California, caught a nice 80 pound amberjack, and Ed Rosemblum from Sherman Oaks, California, also caught a nice pargo all onboard the Marla II with Capt. Danny Osuna at Roca Corbeteña.

The water condition at Puerto Vallarta was 5 to 9 knots of north wind and 2 to 3 foot swells with a 74 to 76 degree water temperature.

This week of sportfishing at Puerto Vallarta has been a good for tunas and all other fish too. They have been baiting way better than last week. Steve, Chuck and Ed fished 3 days and caught a lot of fish like tunas, snappers, amberjacks. I hope the fishing stays the same or much better for next week. These tunas were taking the caballitos really good and the snappers and amberjacks they liked the jigs better.
