GOOD OFFSHORE MIXED FISH SPECIES CAUGHT AT ROCA CORBETENA

Oct. 16, 2005, Danny Gomez, Dhamar Sportfishing, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

Roca Corbetena has been red hot with a lot of tunas and marlin, some dorado and school size tunas from 50 pounds to 300 pounds. It's been a very good week for all the Puerto Vallarta fleet and private fishing boats.

On the super panga Dhamar we had a pretty good week. We got three sailfish, six dorados, and two tunas. We weighed one. It was 314 pounds, and last night we arrived back at Puerto Vallarta at 9 p.m. with one that weighed 245 pounds with Kevencito from San Diego. Kevin has fished aboard some of the best fleets in San Diego and he has caught a good amount of fish, but nothing like he caught aboard the Dhamar.

He also fished aboard my partner's brand new 25 foot Aquasport, and he also caught at 247 pounder with Berney and Capt. Javier Avalos on El Chilango. I believe October is going to be red hot, and it is going to be one of those years when we fish all winter. All the hard core fishermen that come back to Puerto Vallarta throughout the years are really who make the captains look good on the docks.
