LADY ANGLER LANDS 311-POUND TUNA ON THE MARLA II

Sept. 10, 2005, Danny Osuna, Marla's Sportfishing, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

Anna Marie Cochrane of Texas caught her first tuna, 311 pounds, on Sept. 7, 2005, aboard the Marla II with me, Capt. Danny Osuna. The water temperature in the Puerto Vallarta fishing area was 87 degrees, and the water was green, but the right temperature, and nice and flat. This fish was caught at El Banco, 50 miles offshore. It was caught on a trolled live skipjack bait.

My brother, Capt. Scott Osuna, fished Sept. 9, 2005, on the Arca de Noe, Marla's Fleet, and had an incredible catch with 5 cow tuna, four over 200 class fish, and one up to 300 pound class. All these fish were caught on live skipjack. Angelo Rhodes was the angler. The water was green, but the right temperature, 87 degrees, and flat calm.
