POSSIBLE RECORD TUNA FILLETED BEFORE WEIGHING

July 15, 2005, Tracy Ehrenberg, Pisces Fleet, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Big Tuna Report:

We heard of a monster tuna in Puerto Vallarta. The fish was caught by Omar Cardenas and supposedly weighed 420 lbs, making possibly the all tackle world record; however everybody is just so laid back over there that nobody noticed. We heard about the fish on July 12th and it had been caught on the 11th and quickly filleted. We are waiting for photos and will post them as soon as we have them. It never ceases to amaze me that so many record fish go unnoticed.
