OFFSHORE SPORTFISHING WATER TEMPERATURES UP TO 83 DEGREES

May 27, 2005, Capt. Manny Ocaranza, Yolaray, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Fishing Report:

The fish are here now. We're been catching sailfish, yellowfin tuna, and one blue marlin. The fish are located 40 miles north of Puerto Vallarta at 300 degrees. Tuna are swimming with spinner dolphin. The water temperatures in the Puerto Vallarta vacation area are very warm, 80 degrees to 83 degrees.

Fishing at El Banco has been a little slow, the bait hasn't showed up yet. Don't worry because the water is blue and warm. They will be here soon. Fishing at Roca Corbetena has been okay, with some sailfish there. The water color is nice there as well. I am fishing this weekend with my Captain Juan of Animal House. We are thinking on going to El Banquito 72 miles from Punta Mita. I can't wait. It should be lots of fun.
