BLUE MARLIN CAUGHT BY VIKINGS FLEET

Aug. 12, 2005, Gray Palmeter, Vikings Fleet, Mazatlan, Mexico Fishing Report:

Our deep sea fishing trips at Mazatlan this last week have been really great. We have been catching blue marlin every day this week, with the largest blue marlin caught at 11 a.m. on August 6th with a weight of 250 pounds.

The Sailfish and Dorado fishing at Mazatlan have been great as well. The Dorado, we can't keep them off the hooks. They have been biting just about anything we have thrown at them. We have been getting the Marlin at the normal 18 to 25 miles offshore.

For our Mazatlan Light Tackle fishing trips this week, it has been really good fishing, with plenty of Red Snapper to go around for everyone, as well as plenty of Trigger Fish, some Permit and many other small game fish.
