FLOTA BIBI FLEET SPORTFISHING REPORT

Oct. 3, 2004, Tadeo Hernandez, Flota Bibi Fleet, Mazatlan, Mexico Fishing:

This week was a bit slow, but we still managed to have fishing 5 boats out of Mazatlan. They caught (and/or released) 8 sailfish (to 82 lb), 2 Dorado and 18 Skipjack Tuna. Also one 15 lb red snapper was hooked on the way back (it was probably hit or released by a shrimp boat and still alive).

Mazatlan vacation fishing weather is currently 79 F with 67 % Humidity. Water temperature is around 88 F. Best fishing locations 15 to 25 miles out of Light house Marina. Mazatlan tourism will start its increase in the following weeks and we really expect to have a good winter season.
