FISHING FOR MIXED SPECIES INCLUDING LINGCOD AND SHEEPHEAD

May 15, 2005, Fernando Castro, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Mexico Fishing Report:

Castro's Camp had 24 boats fishing this week at Erendira, catching llingcod, red rockcod, calico bass, whitefish, and sheephead.

On Monday through Wednesday, the Erendira area south of Ensenada had very good fishing weather in the mornings, but some wind of 8 to 10 m.p.h. in the afternoons. For the rest of the week, we had some fog in the mornings, and some clouds in the afternoons, but no more wind.

The fishing water off Erendira is clear blue and 58 degrees, in our fishing area 3 miles from the coast.

This week, we had two large groups, the Los Amigos Fishing Group of Manuel Fierro, and the group of Juan Aguilar, who all had a good time fishing together.
