GOOD WEATHER WEEK FOR CASTRO'S BOATS

Nov. 28, 2004, Fernando Castro, Castro's Camp, Erendira, Baja California, Mexico:

This week, Castro's Camp had 16 boats fishing. We had very good weather for the entire week, with a water temperature of 62 degrees, 7 miles from the coast, and a clear blue water color. We have had a lot of bait on the surface of the sea again. This week we had many red rockcod, whitefish, and other bottom fish, and on the surface, many bonita and barracuda, and three mako shark. There are also blue shark in the area. For the bottom fishing, we are using Scampis of different colors, especially red and white, and for the bonita and barracuda, lures of all different types. We are fishing 4 miles from Castro's Camp for barracuda, bonito, and yellowtail, and 7 miles out for rockcod.
