ENSENADA FISHING PRODUCES LINGCOD AND BASS LIMITS FOR VONNY'S FLEET

Jan. 22-28, 2006, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Punta Banda, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Ensenada fishing weather this week was partly cloudy in the mornings, with temperatures of 47 to 62 degrees, calm winds, ocean swells of 2-4 feet, and an average water temperature of 57 degrees. We had a great week, with good sportfishing conditions.

Fishing at Punta Banda on Monday, Brian and Joan Foley had a good day with Capt. Beto on the Vonny-I and they caught plenty of lingcods and sugar bass, limits on both counts.

On Tuesday, Jay Johnson went out on the Vonny-I with Capt. Beto, again limits on lings and cinnamon rock cod and sugar bass, a couple of nice calicos.

Thursday, Rick Martinez fished on the Vonny-I with Beto and they hit the mother load of lings, 13 of them, 6 to 10 pounds and plenty of cinnamon rock cod.

Saturday Don Freydette went fishing on the Vonny-I and got limits of lings and some calicos and sandbass.
