EL DORADO SPORTFISHING AT THE ENSENADA EL FARITO SPOT

Today I went fishing from Ensenada for 4 hours with four persons to the area called El Farito which is found 3 miles west of Ensenada at a depth of 45 feet. The water temperature was 58.5 degrees and we were able to catch 13 sand bass, 15 calico bass, and a good sheephead.

On another trip with three persons we caught 8 sand bass, 14 calico bass, and 4 lingcods with live sardinas.

El Farito is located 3 miles from Ensenada to the west, about off Marina Coral. It is a very shallow area, to 28 feet of depth, and there are a lot of fish in season. The fishing is good there right now. It is about 2 miles off shore at the University and three miles from Ensenada.
