HEADLINE

Nov. 20-26, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Punta Banda, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

On Monday, Hutch and Paul Antonian from Los Angeles went out fishing at Punta Banda with Capt. Beto on our panga Vonny-I. Ensenada fishing area water was calm, with warm weather and a mild Santa Ana wind. The fishing had a slow start in the morning, but by afternoon it went wide open on the bite lingcods, reds, whitefish and sugar bass. They went into overtime, managing to fill the ice chest.

Tuesday the fishing was much the same. Lawrence went out with Capt. Beto on the Vonny-I and they caught limits of bottom fish.

The Vonny-III with Capt. Cruz taking Tom Mayer, caught 6 lings, 8 bass, a couple of reds and sugar bass.

The rest of our Ensenada fishing week was much of the same until today, Saturday, we got some rough water, but still plenty of fish. All boats got limits of assorted bottom delicacies.
