LINGCOD LIMIT CAUGHT WITH VONNY'S FLEET UNDER CLOUDY SKIES

Oct. 23-29, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Punta Banda, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

During the week, our Punta Banda fishing area at Ensenada had overcast and scattered clouds, with air temperatures of 61 to 65 degrees, water temperatures in the 60s, light breezes in the morning, and ocean swells of 3 feet.

Fishing at Ensenada on Sunday, Won Choi and his group from Anaheim, California, caught limits of ling cods on the Vonny-I with Capt. Beto.

On Tuesday, Jay Johnson fished with Capt. Beto on the Vonny-I and caught the 37 lbs "jurel" on iron.

On Thursday, Jay fished again, and he invited friend Debbie Aslin from Alberta, Canada, and she caught her big yellow 27 pounds, thanks to Captain Beto. Jay caught one 23 lbs and Beto nailed one too.

Fishing on Friday, Charlie Dowling and Paul Tremblay from Carlsbad, California, caught 10 lingcods and 15 bass and 12 assorted bottom fish on the Vonny-I with Capt. Beto.
