SLOW SURFACE ACTION FOUND IN LOCAL ENSENADA FISHING WATERS

Oct. 2, 2005, Gerardo Sanchez, KCHTS Sportfishing, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

Ensenada fishing action inside the bay is steady and almost unchanged. We have slow action on the surface for some barracudas at the island, and we have bottom fish. Yesterday, we went fishing south of Ensenada at San Jose reef with 2 passengers, and we had very good bottom fishing, with limits on big red rockcod, lingcod, including 3 of them over 20 pounds, sheephead, whitefish, and a mix of other bottom fish. The fishing water was calm and flat all day, and foggy. The water temperature was 57 degrees. It was a nice day.
