PANGA VONNY II CATCHES 11 YELLOWTAIL WHILE FISHING AT PUNTA BANDA

June 9-11, 2005, Ivan Villarino, Vonny's Fleet, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico:

On Saturday, Paul and his son Sam Herzog from Hesperin, Calif., caught 11 yellowtails on the Vonny II with Captain Genaro Zamora and his friends. David Mendez, Joseph Nandino and Javier Zuniga from Fontana, Calif., caught 3 yellowtails on the Vonny III with Captain Cruz Zamora. Brian "Calico" Foley and his wife Joan from Playa Del Rey, Calif., caught two yellowtails and calicos on the Vonny I this morning.

On Saturday, the Ensenada local fishing area was mostly cloudy. Temperature 61-64 F. Swells 3-4 ft. Water temp. 61s F. Light winds.

In Friday's fishing, Robby Cleek from La Quinta, Calif., and Mark Altenberno from Palm Desert, Calif., caught 3 yellowtails and some calicos and rockcods on the Vonny III with Captain Cruz Zamora.

Fishing at Ensenada on Thursday, Fred Belli from Los Angeles, Calif., caught 4 yellowtails and some rockcods on the Vonny II with Captain Genaro Zamora.
