ENSENADA FISHING GOOD WITH LIVE BAIT AT PUNTA BANDA

Our Ensenada charter fishing boat Tamara fished today at Punta Banda bank, and reported good fishing for red rockcod and big snapper, hitting very good on live bait, but no more giant squid were caught.

Fishing inside Ensenada bay, other private boats caught big bonitos to 10 pounds, and also log barracuda at north Todos Santos Island by trolling Rapala CD14s in clown and sardine colors. The water was clean at 62 degrees.

Ensenada commercial fishing pangas brought in some medium sized albacore to 12 pounds, and they also reported a few yellowtail to 10 pounds on kelp paddies at the 238 bank. Out there the water temperature is also 62 degrees.

Today Ensenada has nice weather. It is a calm, sunny day.
