MIXED BAG MEXICO FLY FISHING RESULTS FOR ANGLERS AT EAST CAPE

May 14, 2005, Gary Graham, Baja On The Fly, East Cape, Baja, Mexico Fly Fishing:

This weeks fishing at East Cape produced a mixed bag. The groups working the beaches found a few small roosterfish willing to cooperate and take a fly. Inshore, a few dorado showed up and even a couple of pompano. Further offshore there were a few tuna if you found the right porpoise school. Billfish picked up again later in the week with several boats reporting multiple releases. Last week's sailfish flurry seems to have petered out.

East Cape water temperatures were 71-78 degrees, and air temperatures 60-89 degrees, with scattered clouds.
