CABO SAN LUCAS BOAT "FISH CABO I" TOPS WEEK'S
CATCHES WITH A 550 POUND BLUE MARLIN

Oct. 26, 2005, Larry Edwards, Cortez Yacht Charters, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

The largest fish for the week was taken by angler Lee Osborne, Cedar Bluff, Virg., fishing aboard the "Fish Cabo I", skippered by Captain Gil Abaroa. The 550 pound blue marlin was taken on 50 pound Ande Line with a Penn International 50, using a custom green & yellow artificial. The angler landed the fish in just short of an hour's time while fishing about 10 miles outside the 95 fathom spot. I would bet this fish would have placed quite well with the Bisbee Tournament.

This was the only fishing information we had from Cabo San Lucas today, in time to forward.

Cabo San Lucas fishing weather was sunny, warm and near picture perfect, with 68 degree nights and 92 daytime highs.

Sea conditions were very good for the Bisbee Tournament with water temps from 79 at the Golden Gate to 92 at the 95 Fathom Spot.
