CHARTER FISHING BOATS LANDING
SCATTERED MARLIN, TUNA, AND DORADO

Cabo San Lucas billfish action picked up a little from last week but it still provides only a billfish for about every third boat fishing day, with the boats landing a scattering of yellowfin tuna and dorado.

The "Fish Cabo", reporting for 3 Cabo San Lucas fishing days, reflected 2 sailfish released and 1 dorado and the "Juanita VIII" reflected 3 stripers released, 2 sailfish released, 2 dorado, 6 yellowfin tuna and 4 skipjack for 3 fishing days.

The Gaviota Fleet, reporting for 19 Cabo San Lucas fishing days, reflected 4 sailfish released, 2 stripers released, 14 dorado, 1 wahoo, 24 yellowfin tuna and 43 skipjack tuna.

Cabo San Lucas Climate: Warm and sunny, temps from 76 at night to 98 daytime highs

Cabo San Lucas Sea Conditions: Warm waters, temps ranged from 85-87 degrees, gentle southerly breezes

Best Cabo San Lucas fishing area: Gordo Banks region

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait was a must for the billfish. Dorado taken mostly on the lures with 2nd fish being taken on live bait drop-backs
