CABO SAN LUCAS SURF FISHING TRIP PRODUCES
4 ROOSTERFISH AND NUMEROUS JACKS

July 5, 2004, Mark Feaster, Cabo San Lucas surf fishing, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

I surf fished Cabo San Lucas for 2 weeks June 21-July 5. Fished primarily in the surf, Pacific side, Sunset Beach. I caught 4 roosters. The one in this picture is 40lbs and approx 54inches. I caught it on a 11' Loomis with a Diawa 5500x reel with 30lb spectra. I used a chrome and blue 3oz ranger.

We caught numerous Jacks to 25lbs as well. A picture was taken by someone on the Cabo San Lucas beach who emailed it to me!

I fished in a Cabo San Lucas boat for 2 days and caught 2 roosters about 35lbs one day and 2 dorado and 2 Tuna on a seperate trip.
