CAMP GECKO COMMISSIONS A NEW BOAT, THE GECKO IV

April 12, 2005, Abraham Vazquez, Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles, Baja California Sur, Mexico:

The weather is in the upper 70s. The winds have been strong with very few nice days and lots of windy ones. The Bahia de los Angeles (L.A. Bay) water temperature is between 59-63 degrees. The gnats are here, and stingrays thinning out now. The road conditions are great, the desert is green and beautiful still. The gas station has gas but they are not selling yet. I got the new boat Gecko IV in the water. It runs great. I am not used to speed anymore, but hopefully will adapt to it.
