BAHIA DE LOS ANGELES FISHING FOR YELLOWTAIL
IS GOOD AT LOS MACHOS AND PUNTA REMEDIOS

Nov. 20, 2004, Abraham Vazquez, Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles, Baja California, Mexico Fishing:

Yellowtail fishing is great at the north reefs, Los Machos, and Punta Remedios. There are medium to large size yellowtail on the deep Bahia de los Angeles reefs. We are catching them yo-yoing the iron on the reefs, and with dropper loops and live bait. Bahia de los Angeles weather has been nice for fishing most of the time this past week. In the local reefs there are lots of bonita, bottom fish, and barracuda also.

Bahia de los Angeles weather has been good for the last 7 days, with temperatures is hitting the mid-70s and dropping to 59 at night, with humidity now 50 percent. Last Sunday Bahia de los Angeles had a good rain, maybe about 1 inch for the storm, so there are still lots of signs of water in the area, but it has been clear weather since then.

Bahia de los Angeles water temperature is cooling a bit fast. It is 69-71 degrees all over the place. It seems like the whalesharks have left the area now. The gas station is looking good but not open yet. The Baja 1000 went by here again. All in all, it was a good event.
