BAHIA DE LOS ANGELES FISHING AREA HAS 82-DEGREE
WATER AND SOME DORADO STILL AROUND

Aug. 28, 2004, Abraham Vazquez, Camp Gecko, Bahia de los Angeles, Baja California, Mexico:

Bahia de los Angeles is still good, both for yellows and dorado , the water temperature is great, the magic 82 is all over the place and so are the dorado if you look for them , the weather has been the same , dry at night and cool upper 70's and warm during the day 90's, light winds , lots of whales still and lots of baitfish coming into the area with all the krill also , there is still lots of bonito on the local reefs , a few skipjacks , and lots of barracuda, and the sea lions are out there in force , worst than other years , the best fishing for yellowtail has been Guadalupe reef and soladado reef , but also can be found in the local reefs , hope that we get some reports from the readers because it sounds like I am making this up , anyway the road repaving is all the way to the Bahia de los Angeles village , they took all the old pavement out and are doing it the right way this time .
