YELLOWTAIL CAUGHT FROM THE BEACH WHILE FISHING
AT SAN FRANCISQUITO SOUTH OF L.A. BAY

San Francisquito Yellow's from the beach!! On July 1, 2004, Dave Phillips and John Aman landed these 4 yellowtail right in front of the huts. While the action only lasted for a few minutes, they were quick to hit our iron. Roxanne Phillips joined the action and landed one on her own after dad gave her the reel for some fun Yellowtail surf action. Each weighed in the 10 to 12 pound range.

Check out these beauties! Tanna Phillips (left) and Lisa Aman stand on the bow of 'Man in the White Boat' captained by John Aman outside the bay at San Francisquito. Overall the fishing was a little spotty with few birds working the area, but both Tanna and Lisa were ready when the boil came. These were also caught on iron on July 1.

On June 27th the action outside San Francisquito finally started to heat up when Dave Phillips of Las Vegas caught these two nice Yellows!
