Gordo Banks Pangas is owned and operated personally by Eric Brictson, whose detailed fishing reports for the world famous Los Cabos fishing area of Baja California, Mexico, appear weekly in Mexfish.com and Western Outdoor News. Just minutes from the airport and major hotels, Gordo Banks Pangas will soon to be relocated from our traditional beach launching area at La Playita to our protected location in the brand new Marina los Cabos at San Jose del Cabo.

Week-by-week, we fish some of the world's most productive fishing grounds, right at the tip of Baja California and at the entrance to the Sea of Cortez.

Fish seasonally available at San Jose del Cabo include world-class action on the offshore glamor species that have made these Mexican waters famous: striped marlin, blue marlin, black marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, dorado, and (some) wahoo. For the variety angler, more different types of fish are caught in our waters than in any other location in Baja. These include roosterfish, groupers, jack crevalle, African pompano, huachinango or true red snapper, sierra, and literally hundreds of other species available for the connoisser angler.
